to Alison Giese’s Sweet Dreams Bunny Lodge, offering tender loving
bunny care for your house rabbits in my home in Cardiff-by-the-Sea. I
am an experienced rabbit caretaker and active San Diego House Rabbit
Society volunteer.
Sweet Dreams Bunny Lodge is
a safe and comfortable place for your bunnies to stay while you are
away. Your furry companions will be kept inside my house, where I will
keep a close eye on them to make sure they are happy and healthy. I am
able to check on them frequently thoughout the day, as I do not work
outside the home. During your bunnies' stay, they will reside in a
spacious exercise pen where they will have lots of room to run. (See
photos at bottom of this page.) Accommodations include the pen, a
litterbox filled with unlimited mixed hay (changed daily), water bowl or bottle (changed daily), fresh vegetables and nutritious timothy pellets at
mealtime, toys to play with, and plenty of TLC and attention. Sweet
Dreams Bunny Lodge has air-conditioning and heating for optimal comfort
and well-being of your bunnies during their stay.

If your bunny has any favorite toys, special treats or preferred foods, please provide them when you drop off your furry friend. Please note that only spayed or neutered rabbits will be accepted. (Exceptions made in certain cases. Please inquire.)
Advance reservations are recommended. If you don't have much advance warning, check with me anyway to see if I can handle your emergency needs. A 30% deposit is required for stays of two weeks or longer. Rates are calculated based on the number of nights your bunnies stay. Rabbits dropped off in the morning and picked up after 5 p.m. will incur an additional night's stay.
In the unlikely event that your bunny needs to visit a vet during her stay here, please either make arrangements with your own regular vet or work with me to make payment arrangements with my regular vet. I will make all possible efforts to contact you before taking your pet to the vet. If emergency care is needed, I may have to take your bunny to an after-hours clinic or hospital, and the costs will be added to your bill. If your bunnies need any medications or special treatments, please provide them and your vet's instructions for their use. A small additional fee will be charged.

Sweet Dreams Bunny Lodge offers deluxe accommodations for your bunny(s)! Upgrades are available for those of you who'd like your bunny to have more space while they are here.* If you have active bunnies or bunnies who are used to having free run at home, they will particularly enjoy the larger pen options. (See the Rates & Services page for the cost of these upgrades.)

How to Make a Reservation
To make a reservation at Sweet Dreams Bunny Lodge, please fill out the RESERVATION REQUEST FORM and PROFILE/CONTRACT and email both forms to bunnysitting@alisongiese.com or call 760‑753‑6652. (The profile/contract only needs to be filled out for the first visit.) Additional services, such as nail trimming and grooming are offered upon request for an additional fee.
